The book, though adequately printed and bound, was generic enough to resemble a self-published book from a "vanity press". This consideration would only be important to someone intent on possessing a permanent library.
Not sure if this was based on true accounts as the prologue states. Interesting either way.
This is great light reading and enjoyed the whole book. Will read again in the future. Enjoy reading a lot
I got this one as a freebie and it was great at the price. I had thought it was a real witchcraft trial record however, and having read it I am now quite sure it is a Victorian-era work of fiction. As such, it's OK. A bit verbiose and as is common the writer assumes that the reader can read Latin. I can't, and the lack of translations was annoying. The text mentioned four or five illustrations that were lacking in the freebie, I didn't expect any.
